Spending TR credits

if you’re worried about live poker ‘tripping’ you don’t give your TR card when playing. The approx. $2 per hour

in comps is not worth the risk of a 0 trip. If your playing poker was in reference to tournaments, I think you must

show your card. Don’t know if this action ‘trips’ you.

Does checkout day with no activity trip you in Las Vegas?

My host told me that as long as you check out before the normal check-out time (11 am at all the properties I’ve been to) you should be fine. If you use any tier perks of late check-out, you get hit with an additional day in your current trip. I’m not sure if there is a window or how long after 11 am you can check out (like if a line makes you a few minutes late) and have it not increase your stay length. It has been suggested to me to check-out through the TV early and just put the do not disturb sign out if you are not leaving immediately, but at a lot of places the TV option doesn’t open up until 5 or 6 am so unless you’re going to bed then, you’re already awake early enough to check-out with time to spare anyway.
