Spectators and 50 / 100 Plays

Is it just me, or has anyone else been hawked by spectators when
playing 50 or 100 play machines? I don't mean someone walking by who
stops to watch a few hands; I'm talking about people who are camping
out. On at least three or four occasions, I have had people that
will just sit there and watch me play one of these machines for
literally two or more HOURS at a time. It's weird. Don't these
people have anything better to do? Heck, I've even had casino
personnel such as security guards and slot techs who will stand
behind me and watch for 10 or 15 minutes at a time. Are these 50/100
play machines THAT fascinating? Anyone else noticed this phenomenon?

The 100/50 play machines at the KC Ameristar are very popular, and I see people "hovering" around the area for short periods of time, in the hopes someone will free up a machine. In fact, I do that too! I love playing those machines and have turned a little profit this year on them.

But no, I haven't had the experience of people staring at me for long periods while I play. The only staring I've noticed is when players stare at each hand as it is revealed on the 2nd deal, as if trying to will themselves a good payout. It's kind of amusing to watch. Maybe that's what bystanders are staring at, too.

Just for the record, I stare at the bottom of the screen where it tallies up how many paying hands you received. Because I know my powers of ESPN will make the machine pay more if I do that!!

Well, I never play those machines, and I still always have a number of attractive looking women constantly watching me.

Cheers.
