I have written to VIP services, as Sandy suggested, to see if I have been
assigned a host. No response thus far.
After reading your suggestions about how to maximize my comps by playing
longer sessions, since comps are based on my play PER DAY, and not over the course
of the month, which is what I had assumed, I am wondering if I also am
shooting myself in the foot in another way?
Usually I will play $1 JOB on the bartops for a couple of hours, and then I
will play 8/5 Bonus Poker in the Sky Casino on those very comfortable,
ergonomically designed machines in the Sky Casino. I always play a minimum of 20
credits on the 25 cent machines, and sometimes maximum credits (30).
I realize I am sacrificing a lot of comp points for the sake of being kind to
my back and butt when I play the 8/5 Bonus Poker, since it takes $180 coin in
to earn $1 in comps vs. $90 at the bartops and that is a sacrifice I am
willing to make. But would it also affect my rating and the level of offers I
receive?
Admittedly I am not very savvy about this whole "theo" business. I understand
it refers to what, in theory, a player is expected to lose, but beyond that,
everything gets a little bit fuzzy for me. I assume they have just one theo
for a machine, regardless of whether someone plays a single 25 cent credit per
hand for a few hours or $7.50 per hand, as with maximum credits? Do we know
what the theo is for these machines? Is it better/worse than the bartop machines?
I am confused. Can anyone help clear this up a bit?
Thanks!
Cathy
