When you say that your host "got" you a room and tickets, does that mean
free
of charge, or at a discount? When I am reserving a room, should I be
asking
a host if I can get it "comped"?
Yes, the tickets and room were comped. I'm currently Sagamore and get free
rooms Sunday-Thursday...all tickets I've received have been comped also.
When I needed the extra Stevie Nicks ticket, I emailed him that I didn't expect
to get it free - to just use my points for the additional ticket as long as
we could all sit together but I got it comped.
Sounds like I should definitely check out these lounges! Can you bring a
guest with you, say a spouse or friend who might have very little play time
or
even none at all?
You can bring a guest, actually you can bring more than one guest but I
don't know if that's dependent on your level of play. That's the highlight of my
niece's visits - they are always excited about going to the player's
lounge<g>....I've brought up to 3 people with me and the only card I've ever had to
show is mine.
Why don't you email or call VIP services and ask them if there's a host
assigned to you and if you qualify for the player's lounge? I can't imagine that
you would be turned down for that! Do you get the mailer that's a calendar
and shows the events for two months? If you do, your host's picture and name
should be on that.
If you have any more questions, just lmk.
