Speaking of hosts...

I have never been into one of the lounges. I guess I am a bit timid about it

since I don't have a Sagamore card and I have an aversion to being thrown

As for going into a lounge and asking for a host, I still am not clear as to

WHY I would do that. What are the advantages to having a host? (Again,
please
bear with my ignorance. I am still learning!)

I found out that I had a host when I called the VIP phone number on the
player's card and asked if I qualified for a couple of comped Cabaret
tickets....the person I spoke to told me I had to check with my host and sent me to "my"
host's voice mail. I figured I would never hear from them again and was
astonished when he called me back in a couple of hours and set me up with a room
and the tickets I asked for.

Advantages of having a host are some of the little extra things you don't
normally think about - my host put me on the waiting list for Jimmy Buffet show
and room when I waited way too long to book - called me three days before the
performance to tell me that he was able to get me the room and tickets.
When one of my nieces joined us on a trip to see Stevie Nicks, my host was able
to get me an additional ticket to the show so three of us could attend. He
also calls me when they have an event that isn't normally mailed out.

BTW, my playing level is quite a bit lower than yours....I usually give them
about 4 hours on the $1 JoB 3 or 4 times a month - around 15K a visit. When
I do spend a night there, I only play on my card the next morning if I can
commit to at least 10K in action....if I want to play less than that, I don't
use my card.

The lounges are a very nice perk and I'm sure you would have no problem with
using them. I think I read somewhere that 5K is enough in daily action to
qualify you for the lounge.
