South Point Mailers

See my post from yesterday under South Point downgrade as the subject. We
have not received our mailer yet but I expect it to be the same drek as
yours.

···

======================================
We got ours in the mail today. This offer was based on my wife and I each playing approx $175,000 coin-in and winning $9,700 combined (we were lucky in August). We play mostly .25 & .50 five play triple double and $1 and $2 single line bonus delux.

Old Mailer New Mailer
4 x $50 free play 4 x $20 free play
dinner for two at Silverado $15 off at Silverado
Dinner for two at Prime rib NOTHING
Buffet for two buy one, get one buffet
2 free show tickets 25% off show ticket

We spoke with the slot club manager this morning and she said she didn't know what the mailer was based on. Needless to say, we are not happy with the treatment. We're very capable of losing $15,000 in a month.

You were lucky. $60K coin each, in netted my husband and me a $5/ week mailer and 2 for 1 buffet. No idea what the new mailer is based on. Sure we won... a little. At least that is what the club claimed.
Not going there at all now, the points we played this month are "wasted."
We normally get the A or A+ mailer.

This is (yet another) "Death due to Dancer"... search his weekly column, perhaps 3 or 4 weeks ago where he yaps about the mailer, what he is playing, what you should play and why it's oh so good. Thanks Bob... it ain't good anymore. Of course his conversations with the VP manager I'm sure sped the end of the mailers along so perhaps you should all thank him for that consideration.

Cincinnati Thompson

PS. I put $110K through over two days playing 100 play NSUD. I lost 600 bucks net of cash-back and received a joke of a mailer for $10 bucks and a free buffet, I'm a out-of-towner (Lake Tahoe)

Does anybody have a list of which properties look at daily average for comps and mailers and which properties look overall coin-in?

If there isn't a list available but you have information on a specific property, I would appreciate knowing.

I play at Stations, Fiesta, M, South Point, Silverton, Monte Carlo, Hard Rock, Ellis Island, Venetian/Palazzo, Wynn, Arizona Charlies, and Coast Casinos.

Thanks,

Bill

Is there any free video poker software online that will correct you when you make errors and show you the correct play?

Not really adding anything helpful...but NOT many casinos even go by daily average coin-in anymore...now it's all daily average THEO (ie: how much can a casino make off of you per day, not how much you put through or win/lose.)

www.simslots.com

It doesn't store your results from session to session, but has training modes.

This site is bogus. It says it requires Java and asks for a download.
All my computers run Java/latest so I'm not going to download whatever that link is...nice try !

That's odd. I have played on the site for years and never had a problem with it, not like some others where I would all of a sudden get strange pop-ups and spam emails. I do recall that the vp and some of the bonus slot games required an up-to-date shockwave flashplayer though.
