Saw a billboard today advertising the half price gas promo for South Point in June: "Pump with Your Points". I don't see the rules on their website yet, but they should be there in a few days.
South Point Gas Promo June
There was an ad in today's RJ.
"Redeem $25 in points and get a $50 gas card."
"Points must be earned between 6/1 & 6/30 for gas card redemption."
"See club booth for complete rules."
So, for every 8,333 points you can get a gas card. When they had this promotion last April, there was a 10 card limit. We'll see if there is a limit this year. I'm guessing 'yes'.

this doesn't actually help when playing the gas promo, though, does
it? usually the way "2x" works at south point is that you can redeem
points for twice as much cash, not that you earn twice as many points;
so you wouldn't actually get gas cards any faster.
