South Point Gas Cards

I see that South Point is bringing back the half price Chevron gas
cards in June. Given the price of gas, the cards are now $50 (instead
of $25). 8,334 points gets you a $50 card with a limit of 25 cards
during the month.

What do mean by half price?? Also, is the point value for play at $1 per point?

$1 coin-in = one point. You can purchase $50 gas cards for $25 worth
of cash back.

So basically it's double points all month as long as you want gas cards? I
suppose you can't use old points?
