I won't start getting my mailer from South Point until next month. Can anyone tell me if there is a double point day or two this month? Thanks!
South Point - Any Double Point Days in August?
I won't start getting my mailer from South Point until next month. Can anyone tell me if there is a double point day or two this month? Thanks!
Good news and bad news. The bad news is that there are no double points days for August. The good news is that there are not one, but two triple points days, in August. The bad news is that they are on the first Sunday and the last Sunday in August. The extra bad news is that the first Sunday was August 1st, and I am sure that almost no one received their mailer in time to participate. We received our mailers in yesterday's mail. I guess the fact that because the end of the month is so hard to gauge, what with some months have 30 days, some with 31, and the bastard step child, February having 28, the marketing morons over there can no longer deal with this difficulty. The late mailer syndrome has been going on with them and also the Harder Rock for the last few months now. To make this more painful, I could have received a waffle maker by earning 300 points between the 1st and the 5th, but was ignorant of that promotion as well. It couldn't possibly be that this is only the most recent step they are taking to try and thwart and identify players who may or may not have an advantage over the casino, could it? I don't know the answer, but I have a couple of calls pending to independent folks doing some research on this matter for me. I wonder if anyone else has gone two and 0 on wins against the same casino with the gaming commission. Would I enjoy the pleasure of such a victory against Mr. Gaughan, who not only owns the South Point, but is saddled with having to decide just how to distribute a huge amount of profits from every gaming device at McCarran International Airport, which he is also unfortunate enough to be the owner of? Of course, I wouldn't.

You're not seriously contemplating filing a complaint based on late mailers?
You do realize they can stop ALL your mailers, make your players card inoperable, even ban you from the casino and there's nothing you can do about it?

Not to burst your bubble, but I went to Southpoint today and the slot club told me the 3X pts. is for BINGO only.

On my mailer, to the left of where it says "Triple Points", there is an associated small photo of BINGO balls. Sneaky? Very.

Not a problem, as my bubble has been burst for many years, however, my

After following this thread and many others by advantage players I am amazed at the effort involved in the battle against gaming entities. This seems to be an extremely hard way to make an easy living. Do any of you have fun at VP?
