South Florida VP

The machine does not simulate a deck of cards. (These supposedly simulate
"bingo" according to the dregs!) An RNG could be in the machine or at a
central computer that determines whether you win anything and how much if
you do. If you are dealt a winner you could throw it court and will always
get the same win back. If you rig the discards to guarantee a loser in the
normal game there is a second feature usually a "match card" bonus that
will pay what you threw away. This group has discussed this allot lately
because the big names including IGT are getting into the Class II market
and you need to know whether you are playing Class II or Class III since
you basically are getting a "slot machine" like game on Class II with no
skill and much lower payback.

Howard,

Help me out 'cuz I'm new to this, but how do I tell the difference
between the class II games you mentioned and the "real" VP games?

Very interesting. Now that I understand the difference between a
Class II and Class III game, is there a way to identify which is
which when I walk up to a VP machine?

The machine does not simulate a deck of cards. (These supposedly

simulate

"bingo" according to the dregs!) An RNG could be in the machine or

at a

central computer that determines whether you win anything and how

much if

you do. If you are dealt a winner you could throw it court and

will always

get the same win back. If you rig the discards to guarantee a

loser in the

normal game there is a second feature usually a "match card" bonus

that

will pay what you threw away. This group has discussed this allot

lately

because the big names including IGT are getting into the Class II

market

and you need to know whether you are playing Class II or Class III

since

you basically are getting a "slot machine" like game on Class II

with no

skill and much lower payback.
