The Borgata, IMHO, is the third nicest standard (Venetian, Borgata)
room in this business, and you don't have to play $30K/day for RFL.
I have found Coast's cuisine offerings at best average, but others
like them.
Mediocre VP? Not every place can be like the Peppermill, dude. As of
right now, one of the better inventories in Vegas, but don't get too
comfortable playing there-I hear the backoffs have begun (although
management seems to be fairly clueless-no surprise here).

Stayed at the South Coast this past weekend.
Thought it was OK but there is nothing to make me go "WOW" at this
property.
The food at the buffet and Italian restaurant was good (especially for
the price).
The rooms are nice and have a large bathroom but these are not upscale
rooms as I have come to expect from new casinos like the Borgata or
L'Auberge.
I would go back but with the mediocre VP would not go out of my way to
return. A lot will depend on any future offers.
