South Coast theme

I received the 2-night South Coast offer previously discussed by others. The
flyer they sent invites me to “Enjoy our Southern California atmosphere that
features six restaurants and all the excitement Las Vegas has to offer.”

While I am anxiously awaiting news of their VP inventory their self-described
“Southern California atmosphere” also intrigues me. What should I expect of
this theme? Are they going to pump a layer of smog over the casino floor to
resemble the Los Angeles skyline? Using actors, will they challenge the TI
Sirens show by staging regularly scheduled gang warfare including drive-by
shootings in valet waiting area? Better yet, will they borrow from The Mirage’s
erupting volcano attraction by mounting the entire casino on a shakable platform to
periodically send chips, cards and players flying about by simulating 4.0
earthquakes?

Any thoughts?

Don

The whole property will be non-smoking, and smoking near the property
will be frowned upon. The staff will be mostly Spanish speaking.
Botox will be offered at the spa. The pool better be the best in
Vegas.

Once the word gets out about the non-smoking rule I'm betting the place
will be swarming with gamblers, even if the VP is lousy. The coast
casino owners took a different gamble at the SunCoast, the first casino
with all TITO machines, and that turned out to be successful. It will
be interesting to see if the non-smoking rule works. I hope so.

I would like to elucidate that my post was supposed to be humorous, I
don;t think any of those things are true.

A 4.0 won't get any attention.

A 7.0 is the minimum I would go with.

Better yet, will they borrow from The Mirage’s
erupting volcano attraction by mounting the entire casino on a

shakable platform to

periodically send chips, cards and players flying about by

simulating 4.0

My my. Should we ask the Administrator to set up a special humorous
postings group so those who have trouble understanding when a post is
made in jest will know when their leg is being pulled? Perhaps call
it ygtbsmVpfree (you got to be *hitting me Vpfree).
