South Coast Changes

Following in the footsteps of Gold Coast and The Orleans,
devastation in High Limits paytables. All $5-plus denomination games
changed as follows: 16/10 NSUD is now 15/9, 9/6 Bonus Deluxe is now
8/6, 9/6/4000 JoB is now 9/6/2500. I did not check lower return games.

The new South Point Club card will start October 25. It will be
a COIN-IN club. If you initially signed up for your Club Coast card
at South Coast, all points earned at all Coast Casinos will be
transfered to the new South Point card. If you initially signed up
for your Club Coast card at any other Coast Casino, all points,
including those earned at South Coast, will remain on the Club Coast
card and be available for redemption at any other Coast Casino.

I saw this last night and was going to report it, but you beat me to it. Good catch on the 9/6 JoB - I thought it was fullpay, but must have missed the shorted royal payout. Highest denom I could find for NSU was $2.

Good info on the slot club too. I went there twice and nobody mentioned anything about it....you must have prodded them for that info. They certainly didn't give it to me unasked.

BTW, Two of the glass doors facing east by valet already say "South Point" on them.

Could you or someone check the >25, .50 and $1 versions of these games?

Well, if this is at the behest of incoming management, the South Coast
should be embarrassed for offering 2500 for a Royal. The place was
already an embarrassment to Boyd Gaming; now they add icing to the
cake. I certainly hope that you, and other VP players, boycott these
machines.

The information was provided by the suit emcee prior to car giveaway
drawing last night.

I was there Tursday to watch some of the taping of High Stakes Poker. The
show won't air until after the new year. The logo in the center of the
table said "South Point".

It's possible they put the new name on the doors there to get some exterior
shots for the show.

I checked several single line machines this morning. There's no change
to the quarter thru $2 NSUD. I also cleaned our cashback to be on the
safe side. I'm out of town this coming week and don't want any surprises.

That's kinda weird. They can always burn in new images if need be. On
the poker telecasts, the producers burn in whatever advertiser is
sponsoring the telecast, depending on what country the show is in.
