SOON: Silver Legacy machine swap; also: Peppermill..

I'm posting this ahead of my trip report which I'll try to finish up
by tomorrow. I was at Silver Dec 2-6 and Pepps just Dec 5.

A slot attendant supe mentioned to the player next to me that the $1
coin bank of EIGHT slant tops, 4 Bonus Poker on one side, 4 10/7 DB
Progs on the other side; near the center escalator on the main floor
of Silver Legacy will DISAPPEAR around DEC 15th. They are being
swapped out for GameMakers, TITO.

Of course what remains to be seen is will the Silver use this
switchover to short-change the players by downgrading the 10/7 DB
paytable?

My conjecture is that many other of the Silver's Coin VPs will also
be swapped out in weeks and months to come. The .50 coin Bonus Poker
bank of 10 moved from the west side near Keno over to the east side
of the main floor near the Sportsbook.

Can the bank of 16 & bank of 4 $1 DDB Progs, the .25 MG slant tops
near keno, and the .25 BP Prog bank of 8 east of the north side
escalator be far behind this switchover? I like and play most of
these machines. I like their paytables. I don't like the COIN
cashouts, I'd welcome a swap to TITO. I don't like the new .25
FPDW/MultiGame uprights ergonomics. They need a whole lot more of the
taller chairs, or they should make them slant tops. I hope the new
GameMakers are slant tops.

============================

Also, the Peppermill has recently brought in many dozens of new VP
machines. Most of them are upright, single game IGTs. The ones I sat
at had the speed adjustment capability. The glass on the uprights is
all the same (the lower and upper panels) and just read "Peppermill",
so the only way to know what game is on the machine is the text of
the name of the game in the lower left corner of the Screen. This is
somewhat annoying.

There are also Multigame, multi-denom slant tops, not too many new
ones.

I couldn't find the Two FIVE ACES machines just outside Oceano
restaurant. Anybody know where they are elsewhere in the Pepps?
Replaced by Super Times Pay.

Cheers,
MARK P.

Those FPDW prog machines at SL are the iron maidens of the vp world!
I have never been in so much pain while playing vp. You practically
need a chiropracter after a session. I was actually dragging taller
chairs from other sections of the casino to play there.
