Somewhat OT: Re: Illinois "Bar" Casinos - Wheel of Gold Video Poker

Ohio has had little mini-casinos for a number of years. They are apparently allowed by Ohio law because they are "skill games" rather than games of chance. I've never been in one, but I imagine the games are like those I've read of in Cherokee, N.C. where (if I recall correctly) all slots have a two-pull system per game--you spin, select which reels to keep, then spin again for your final outcome. The first selection supposedly allows your 'skill' to come into play.
Interestingly, none of these Ohio mini-casinos are allowed in bars (which I think is an Ohio Division of Liquor Control rule), so they are typically set up in little, vacant storefronts and serve coffee and sodas.
I've never been in one because they aren't regulated by any Gaming Commission that I know of. They seem to be located in counties where the County Prosecutors don't hassle them too much.
