SOME THINGS ARE ETERNAL

Dear "Bat"

Apparently, you are blissfully ignorant of the last 25 years' medical and
nutritional research--as well as more recent news. I.e., Dr. Atkins' autopsy
results showing obesity and advanced heart disease. And I challenge you to
document one, single case of Mad Carrot disease!

Sorry if this comes across as intemperate--but you're one of the few
carnivores I've come across who appears contemptuous of vegetarianism!

Rick
Rick, hate to tell you this but being "veggie" still isn't cool.

Dear Rick--
Apparently you are blissfully ignorant that there was no "autopsy" on Dr. Atkins, who was reasonably fit before he fell on his head and went into a coma. You may also be ignorant of the fact that medical research at Harvard and other places shows that consumption of refined carbohydrates--not raw carrots-- is connected with obesity and diabetes.

Hey, somehow I got stuck in the middle of Rick and Pete.
Rick, I am very ignorant but my bliss is limited. I just resented your assumption that not eating meat is "cool." Are you very young? Than your smugness is understandable. If you've reached a certain age you become more aware of the value of tolerance of other attitudes. Let me enjoy my occasinal steak and you stick with the tofu.
Peace & Love dude,

Matt (the bat)
