SOME THINGS ARE ETERNAL

Just got the El Cortez coupon book.

It's EXACTLY the same cover that it was 25 years ago when I used to buy 'em
from the legless lady in front of the Mint. And it STILL has the same free
breakfast coupon for 2 free ranch eggs, bacon, toast and coffee (which I ordered
w/o the bacon since I was veggie when veggie wasn't cool) OR Hot cakes. And
it's still valued for $1--with the 15 cent tip stub.

So, in this chaotic, throw-a-way age of 15 minute pop stars, landmark
implosions, and tampering with 3:2 Blackjacks--there are still eternal values.

And that's a good thing! (Oops, almost forgot about Martha Stewart's
prosecution!)

Boy, does that bring back memories. Bet that not many on this list can
relate to this.

Rick, hate to tell you this but being "veggie" still isn't cool.

And you also get hashbrowns!

The one big difference - according to my last waitress: the 15 cent
tip coupon is taxed!
