some sorokin numbers

I have checked four of these numbers and find them to all be a bit low. In other words, the risk of ruin with perfect play is a bit higher than these numbers would indicate. Errors in human play, however, probably increase the risk more than these small errors, especially for Double Bonus and All American.

For 10/7 DB I compute 0.9998757753249636 and for jacks(rf=1300)
I get 0.9995921560339305, which both match quite well to the
numbers above.

If your numbers disagree with mine, then one of us must be doing
something wrong. I would suggest that we work together (perhaps
through email) to resolve this discrepency.

Dan, are you saying that Sorokin's equation itself isn't completely accurate, because the RoR with perfect play is a bit higher than indicated by those numbers? I assume that by 'perfect play' you mean mathematically perfect application of the strategy resulting from the Sorokin number which is appropriate for max-ev.

Gentlemen, if you do decide to take this to email, I would very much like to receive copies of your exchange in this matter if neither of your would mind, and I promise to not butt in with my two cents or burden either of you with questions. I'll just try to follow it the best that I can, and try to figure it out.

Thanks.
