I usually just sit back and read the post that come across my email from vpfree and freevpfree. But after reading these latest post on freevpfree that have been coming through recently I figured it was time to step up and say something. I have met Rob Singer. I heard his name mentioned on vpfree(this was a couple years ago now) and I went and checked out his web site and read his articles. I already was familiar with Jean Scott's and Dancer's books, having read them and used thier software to learn AP play. I must admit AP play never did profit a whole lot and I usually didnt lose a whole lot either. But I had an open mind to look at other strategies. After reading a lot of Rob Singer's articles, I sent him a few emails with some questions. He always responded with answers and even offered to send me The Undeniable Truth at no charge. I accepted the offer and liked the book enough that I purchased Rob's other book Ramblin and Gambling Through Nevada. Which was actually a really fun read. I emailed Rob to let him know I was planning a trip to Vegas and I was curious if he was going to be in town at the same time. Turns out he was, he offered to meet with me and show me how to use the romp through town strategy. So we meet, we talked for quite a while, then I played and he taught me how to use his strategy. I didnt win a bunch at our meeting, but I did do quite well the rest of the day playing the romp through town strategy. Rob never asked for a dime, a tip, a meal, NOTHING!! And that is the honest truth! I have been using romp through town and the advanced romp through town strategies for a couple years now and have done quite well. I play usually here in Colorado, the casinos here are lower limit but are regulated much like Vegas. But I do make trips(comped) to Vegas and Laughlin a couple times a year. My last trip to Vegas was last month, comped at the Palazzo(very nice!). What I am getting at is I dont understand all the Singer bashing. I may not agree with everything Rob says or his views on certain subjects. Who gives a sh**, big deal. I feel Rob is a good guy. He has never asked me for a dime. However if our paths cross again I will definitly offer him dinner or a nice lunch. Its the least I could do for that nice stack of w2gs I have collected. So Mickey Crimm and the rest of you, if you dont like Singer why dont you get a life and move on. You sound like it is your life's work to talk smack to and about the guy. Pathetic, really very pathetic. No one has put up to making this post. I am a real guy in Colorado. So go ahead Singer basher's, hate me too. Bobby G
Some people need to get a life.
They say love is blind, Bobby. Is that the case with you? I'm bashing just one person, Singer. Why? Because he has continuously bashed every AP in the video poker world for years now. If you don't believe it then go back to the very beginning of this site and read the hundreds, maybe thousands, of venomous posts he has made. It's all on record here. Why are you confronting me? Why haven't you confronted him for his continuous bashing of everyone in the video poker world? Love is blind, right Bobby?

Ok now it's my turn to comment!! First kudos for your post Bobby, well done!
I have heard more then my share of Singers bashing also, how about the rest of you
people out there? To all the basher's, just set back and take a good look yourselves. All I
see is just a whole bunch of pathetic sick people that the rest of the world has left behind.

Once again, Richard, or is that you Rob?, you choose to ignore the thousands of posts Rob has made bashing anyone and everyone at will. It's all on the record sir. And it was Rob who always started the bashing first. Here is a typical scenario with Rob:
Rob: "My system works."
Respondent: I beg to differ with you, sir."
Rob: Why you poor pathetic piece of crap. You're as stupid as the rest of them. You got no life, no family, no teeth. You're a loser."
This is how it always is, Richard. Not just here but on LVA Sports and videopoker.com and probably other sites we don't know about. Do you really expect that Rob can bash the hell out of someone and that person is not going to respond in kind?

This is all very sad. After having my email filled to the limit with mudslinging and name-calling, I am going to first take a shower to remove the filth that the participants have covered me(us) in. I am ashamed to even be responding to this mindless nonsense, but I feel some semblance of rationality should be imparted. I am withdrawing my name from the membership list of this group as it appears to serve no other purpose then to allow continued childish behavior that has no place among supposed adults. I hope that if I do someday decide to return here that I will find information about video poker not hyped-up egomaniacs trying to put themselves upon some mythical pedestal and tell all the rest of us how great a gambler they are. Good luck and for now--good riddance.

I could not agree more. This site is turning into a potty mouthed romper room.

Gene, this site is not TURNING INTO a potty mouthed romper room. It has ALWAYS BEEN a potty mouthed romper room. This is the free speech arm of vpFREE. It was created so anyone who wanted to act like an a-hole could do it over here instead of vpFREE.
Go back to the beginning, November, 2003, and go through all the 6000 posts that have been made here. You just aren't going to find anything on strategy (unless you go for Singer's phony gambling tactics). This site has been nothing but trash talking since it's inception. This site revolves around Rob Singer's mad ravings so what can one expect from it? Just more trash talking.
If it's strategy talk you want, with the participants acting in a responsible and respedtful manner, then stick with the other forums. This is just friendly advice, Gene. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice and good luck to you. I am jealous of your finding those extraordinary machines in Montana.
