Some Laughlin History Notes/Sightings of Celebs

We all do an ebb and flow with the various Laughlin casinos if we have been around long enough. My first comped room was at the Riverside. Currently I am good for a comped room the Pioneer and CB/EW. But GN-L and RP used to be my joints and I had that great Total Rewards experience down at Harrahs for 27 months, doing D-i-a-D in January 2005.

I got to review 40 months of Bob Dancer's casinogaming.com articles after being dormant for this long time. I don't know what some of the games/plays he has looked at over the years. But one of my favorite columns is called "Busted".

I never saw Bob at Harrahs-L or RP. Jean and Bob have talked it up on vpFREE over the years playing in Laughlin. Anyone see them in action, maybe late at night? But I guess they never saw me, and gave me a knowing nod, either?

BS

Pro's are more likely to be seen at strange hours. Jean and Bob were creatures of the night. Those were the days!
The "Busted" column was fun. I remember the $10 DB at HL. Those were the days!
My favorite was watching the Pro's hustling RP on the 50 play NSUD. The machines were pushing out extra points and had great theo. I'd be gambling on the 10/7 DB Multstrike (Yum!) while watching these characters on the NSUD.

Some were CPA's keeping detailed records.
Some were math majors calculating variance.
Some were nice and appeared to be having fun while working.
Some were really bad abusive jackasses.
Those were the days!
