A quick tour around GSR showed a lot more 9/6 JoB at the $ level, including some bar tops. A more careful inventory is needed to update the database, I think. Still found not a single machine with playable deuces. They've made further changes to the floor, that seem kind of random. I still don't think they know who they want to attract and what kind of resort/ casino they want to be. I miss the Reno Hilton.
some improvement at Grand Sierra
Posting this from The Lodge Buffet @ GSR.
The crowd they're trying to attract is the 21-35 group, as that's ALL that's here right now.
Also, they removed Dream Card from the floor (or at least, for now)
On a side note:
Mark, was that your $2000 cash-out on the circular bank near the main cashier?
Hey Tim -
am still here, posting from room /wireless.
I got digi-camera shots of my best hands. $400 is top hand, got about 5 of them. some BP quad aces and some $2 BP quad 3s. Nothing postable to vpFree photos. YET!
Am stuck big, haven't cashed out any >$1000 tickets, just ATM w/ds. I'm playing scrabble 9am-6pm fri/sat/sun, doing ok with that.
Spent 20 min watching a pal play craps. wow. i'd never seen it before. chips flying like the dice. there are worlds that are quite strange but fascinating to me.
