Some changes in local VP

Single line Multi-Strike short pays the royal. (When looking at Multi-Strike pay tables you need to hit the arrows on the screen to change the pay table to one line in order to read it.) Two or more lines for normal pay (But beware as some Multi-Strike games short pay the royal even when playing four lines. See triple double bonus at Trump for example.). Yes, NSUD is available on Multi-Strike at the Majestic Star. (DB2's has a slightly higher overall return on that machine but is more volatile.) I did not notice this the first time I played that game but some people on vpFree's national group pointed that out. I may well be out there later today playing 25c Multi-Strike. I wonder when they will activate that bank of a ten machines in the left front of the VP area? Those new machines have been there for over a month now. I thought casinos hate it when those instant money making devices are not going!! Using the same idea you suggest, I have played single-line $1 NSUD and 8-5 super aces at Harrah's Joliet by playing Spinpoker in the High Limit room. Those extra cards can be a distraction.

The $.25 Multi-Strike Deuces is NSUD. One could just play a single
line if interested in single line NSUD, no?

Thanks, good catch. I recently hit a Royal on line 2 and as expected
the payoff was $2k which reinforced my mistaken belief that everything
is kosher with Royal payoffs. I always check the paytables before
playing, but somehow this line 1 short snuck by me.

You got that right about the volatility. Playing side-by-side with DB2
it usually seems that their credits are on the decline while mine are
on the rise with NSUD. After I'm well into an NSUD session (which is a
grinding affair that lasts 8+ hours typically) I sometimes get
comments from onlookers like "what did you hit?". My response to their
disbelief is usually "nothing spectacular, just slowly inching
forward". NSUD certainly is not immune to dry spells, but with the
appropriate bankroll they are definitely more survivable.
