Some Additional LVH Info

Just got back from the Hilton and am sorry to say that, as mentioned
on this site a couple weeks back, the theoretical has been cut back
SIGNIFICANTLY and offers keep getting trimmed back. Just to point out
the magnitude of the theo cutback, while my cash-in and cash back
points were consistent from my last trip, my theo was only 1/3 of my
previous trip! I could understand maybe making a 10% - 20% cut, but a
67% cutback seems very excessive. It is also very clear that all
rating levels (C-1, C-2, etc.) are not based on coin-in but theo. It
seems like theo is all that matters, period.

I'll offer some perspective. If I recall, the LVH theo formerly
assigned to the 10-play quarter machines (which included 9/6 Jacks)
was somewhere between 4 and 5%.

Many other casinos assign less than 2% (and a few, less than 1%) --
although a theo this slim tends more often than not to be restricted
to stand alone Jacks machines (not multigames on which games more
generous to the house reside).

Trust that there's a strong Resorts influence here. In AC, formerly
robust theos for Jacks and BP would severely cut a couple of years
ago. Keep an eye out for LVH to ultimately cut cb in half on the
strongest plays.

Frankly, LVH was an extraordinarily good thing and one that I'll
remember fondly. It's simply part of the ebb and flow of vp.
