Does anyone have knowledge or experience with the fairness of the video poker and slot machines here? Has anyone who is a regular hit what seems to be a fair amount of royal flushes?

Be careful with the responses you get. Unless the person does a lot of tracking, the information you get is more opinion than fact.
Quick example.
Player one plays 1000 hands per hour, plays 40 hours and hits 0 royal flushes
Player 2 plays 1000 hands per hour, plays 40 hours and hits 1 royal flush
Player 3 plays 1000 hands per hour and hits 2 royal flushes.
What does this tell you? Nothing. Each event is about as likely. So, player 2 will tell you that Soaring Eagle has ‘loose’ video poker. Player 1 will tell you ‘they must have tightened up the machines’. Neither one is true.
