Guys,
Dolores and I just spent a couple of days up at Soaring Eagle. The
only vp game I found worth playing was in the old building. It was
the NSUD Deuces Wild game.(99.7%) As you walk in the building, it's
staring you in the face. Quarters only.
I also was playing a Pick-A-Pair game that had a different pay scale.
I Checked it out when I got home and discovered that it was 97%. The
pay scale was, 10,000-1000-600-90-75-55-20-15-10. You will notice
that the SF and the trips payouts are lowered. It's a little better
than the normal lowered Pick'Em, but still not the correct one.
I played a lot of slots this time and lost mostly, as expected. I did
hit a for $500 on a fifty cent machine once, but stayed too long and
lost most of it back. Dolores hit one for $1,000 and left ahead for
the trip. I don't know how she does it, but she has done it several
times on our casino trips around the country.
"The only way you can beat a slot machine, is in a footrace."

We did have a super, great meal at Soaring Eagle's "Water Lilly"
restaurant. The problem was, it cost us, including the tip, $130. We
did have a couple of drinks in that, but still, way to expensive for
the average casino goer.
