There was a bank of six DDB progressives at GVR that was set wrong

Most floor people have no clue.
Be glad there's one good paytable there and hopefully if will stay
around for quite a while.
You know, whenever an exceptionally strong paytable is reported AWOL
from a casino floor, I speculate on what prompted the removal. I
imagine there's a decent likelihood it came under scrutiny when
machine holds were surveyed and it was found to be subpar.
On the other hand, the predominence of evidence suggests that slot
managers often aren't the brightest bulbs in the pack and also are
prone more to knee jerk reactions than rational assessment. I don't
question that the wrong word in the right ear can have unfortunate
consequences.
Though I acknowledge there's little chance anything I'm likely to
say/write would have any consequence on the casino floor, I strongly
prefer to err on the side on caution. Don't look for me to discuss
machines such as those noted in these two posts on groups such as this
nor with floor personnel.
