Jon, I agree and understand that the pay tables cant be over 100%. That is
one of the reasons I prefer to play the TB+ game, it is as close to 100% as you
can find when played with decent pay tables. I play more for 4 of a kinds
than a royal, but an occasional royal is always an added bonus. It would just
be nice to see a little more competition on the room rates. I know you can get
some special deals on rooms once in a while. But I put in a lot of play on
VP in the .50 to dollar range and I still seem to find my self paying close to
$100 or more a night for rooms on the weekends. Maybe when the new hotel
opens up the other places will lower their rates. I get lots of free offers for
during the week but most of the time my work schedule will not allow that. I
live in Loveland so when I head up the hill it is usually for the night. At
the same time if the existing hotels all lower their rates when Ameristar
opens I will be a little irritated because I will feel like why weren't you
offering me these deals when I was giving you a lot of play. I must admit that I
have been playing a little more at Ameristar that what I used to in
anticipation of some hotel offers once it opens. Any thoughts? Bob
