Snowing in Las Vegas! (XVP)

I live in SW Las Vegas, and right now it is snowing outside my condo! My car
is covered in white!

Forgive my excitement, I grew up in Los Angeles. No snow there ever. :frowning:

聽聽Congratulations!!! I understand how you feel. I live in deep south Texas and is snowed for the first time in 109 years and did it on Christmas Day. It was wonderful, what a sight.
聽聽Hoping to make it to Laughlin next month for some vp.

It's been snowing pretty hard for about an hour and a half now. We
had a lot of snow on the ground last year but it happened overnight.
Do any locals remember it snowing this much in the middle of the
day?

Skip,
Went to the Rampart for lunch, from Buffalo & Cheyenne. The driving
conditions aren't too bad, everybody going slow. The snow is starting
to accumulate on the roads...will be fun tonight if the temp drops
and everything ices up.

I have lived here since '91 and have never seen it snow like this
during the day.

When I left NY in '91, I swore that I would never drive in snow again!

Hi Brian,

Here's an open-ended invitation: come visit us in January, in
Chicago. You pick the day.....any day! You'll get over your
excitement quickly as you slip and slide in the slush and ice, and
then watch your nostrils freeze, so you can't even sneeze!
