Sneaky Stardust comp tricks and food to avoid in Vegas

I've never been disappointed with baby back ribs until I tried them at
Kady's in the Riviera. The ribs were awful.. lots of fat and grissle,
terrible sauce, and splintery small bones throughout.. I couldn't
finish them.

Also, the Stardust breakfast buffet is horrible.. not even worth the
six dollar price.

Stardust is a bad experience overall.. they mail out flyers for "free"
rooms, then secretly zero out your comp points if you sign up for a
free room.

Is this legal?

I would expect that they would be required to tell us that we are
really *buying* the room with comp points. It was very sneaky for
them to do this, and if I knew they were going to do that, I would
have taken the free room at Sam's Town instead, where a free room is
actually free, and comps are seperate.

The Rivera is a rub joint. A toilet that goes after the low end
player. It's fallen so far it will never get up. In the mid
seventies men wore suits there and played high stakes blackjack. You
could blow up all the casinos around there and they would never be
missed. Westward Ho, Circus Circus, Rivera, Stardust should all be
leveled and they should start from scratch.

I can honestly say that as many times as we've stayed at the

Stardust over

the years they have never taken points off of our card. We just

get the

free room (or reduced room) as is.

The Stardust won't take your points to pay for your "free" room, but
they aren't shy about deducting from your comp bank, which is tracked
separately. It's not easy to get additional comps when you're
staying on one of their offers because the cost of the room comes out
first. Your points will stay on your card until you redeem your
cashback.
