Sneak a Peek Video Poker

Played a bit of this poker last week in Vegas (actually on a side trip to
Laughlin) ...kind of fun seeing what your First Draw card will be. Changed my
strategy a couple of times.

  Anyone else play it? comments?

I just checked by the VPFree Archives and also did a Google search using "Sneak a Peek Video Poker" and came up with nothing. If you don't mind, please describe the game and also give the paytables available for it. All I can gather is that you get a chance to look at the first card that you'd be drawing, apparently before deciding on your discards.

Thanks.

There was a $1 machine of Sneak a Peek VP at Caesar's in Tahoe about two years ago while I was working there. I'm sorry I don't remember the paytables, but I do remember there was a significantly less return on many of the pays.

Caesar's had many games like this here and there. Another they had, and I can't remember the name of it exactly (it was Sigma) was a 4 of a kind machine where if you had three of a kind and the last two cards added up equaled the base value of the three of a kind cards, it counted as a four of a kind. For example: 4-4-4-A-3 counted as four 4s and K-K-K-10-3 counted as four Ks. Can't remember the paytables, but do remember it was .25 VP.

The game was called "add em up" if I recall. It was another offbeat Sigma game that was fun to play as a diversion. Unfortunately most Sigma VP is very hard to find these days.
My absolute favorite was 5 joker poker.

Add Em Up is still at the Pioneer Hotel and Gambling Hall in
Laughlin.

"RiverBelle"-that's an on-line casino. Sneek a Peek can still be
found at the GNLaughlin, maybe others.

"Five Joker Poker" lasted a few weeks recently in the new Sigma games
at the Colorado Belle, which vanished.
