Smoking Ban

About two ago the Majestic Star in Indiana tried a non-smoking area. They
sent fliers for several weeks announcing the coming of the non-smoking area.

The first time I was in the non-smoking area a man sat next to me smoking. I
reminded him of the non-smoking sign at the entrance but I was ignored. I
went to the guard standing at the entrance. I pointed to another man
entering with a cigarette in his hand. He said that after the first day he
was told not to enforce the ban because they had many smokers say that they
would not come back if they were banned from any area in the casino.

The Majestic Star is two boats with three floors on each boat. The
non-smoking area was one floor of one boat, about 16% of the casino area.

Since then one floor of one boat (except for a deli bar) is non-smoking.
This floor is the poker room. You cannot smoke in the poker room. You must
go into the eating area to smoke. The MS advertises that they now have the
largest poker room in the Chicago land area.

The best way to deal with idiots who smoke in non-smoking areas is kick them in the nuts, or in the case of a woman just tell her "imagine waking up next to you in the morning with that stench all around you". Then remind them both that next year same time they likely will be 6 feet under after dying a horrible death in front of those whom they wish they didn't have to leave for good because of their nasty death-wish habit. These people don't respect themselves, so how could anyone expect them to respect others. The more humiliation you lay on these jerks the better off they'll become.

The best way to deal with smoking is make cigarettes illegal. After all, cigarettes/nicotine is more addicting than most illegal drugs.
Cigarettes kill more people and costs more in health care than all illegal drugs combined.
Your great GWB or Congress won't do that though, because they subsdize tobacco companies and are a bunch of hippocrites.
Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

I'd love to see cancer sticks as an illegal substance. It makes no
sense that they're not. GWB is great, correct, but Congress is run by
a bunch of sissified Democrats afraid of their own shadows. I don't
agree with how the administration deals with illegal aliens and I
don't agree with them subsidizing tobacco companies because of the
money. So continue kicking smokers in the nuts remains the only
option, and I'd love to get Meldrone out of his N. Calif. hole to
make a crystal clear example of.
