I am in Carson City every weekend.
In years past, I was visiting Reno every weekend...which actually made
a progression, beginning at playing downtown (CC, Fitz, Cal-Neva),
then eventually made it's way out to Sparks (Nugget/Silver Club)
All the while, my offers were getting smaller and smaller. (which was
the need for change)
Then I found a small casino in Carson (Gold Dust West) which sends me
very generous offers for my minimal play ($500 CI per day)
What is everyone else's opinion on this...is it possible for the small
player to get better comps at the smaller casino's, or am I just
lucky? (I think what started off the comp offers was me winning one of
the BJ Tournaments at GDW)
Small Player, Small Casino, Good Comps
My experience with Gold Dust West in Reno has been very positive.
Points earned while playing VP are the same as with slots. This is
not the case at most other casinos. They provide same day cash back
and send mailers with coupons offering 3x and 4x cash back on specific
days. Their restaurant in Reno is quite good with very reasonable
prices and friendly service. When you get to their middle and top
tier levels you receive one or two complimentary meals per day
respectively. This is indeed very generous and better than any other
casino in Reno.
