Great, Slots Today plagiarises an article by me and how do we
reward them, by putting one of their trashy columns, showing half-
naked women, (not that the pictures were all that bad) up on the
vpFree site, giving them a free plug and legitimizing their latest
rip-off.
I recieved an e-mail from another well known gambling writer who
couldn't get paid by them for an article he wrote that they used and
finally gave up vowing to have nothing to do with them ever again. I
guess it all comes down to who's ox is being gored.

My understanding is that a GT/ST writer plagiarized an article
that vppappy submitted (for which he wasn't looking for any
compensation), and that vppappy has chosen not to pursue
the matter. Although I deplore the plagiarism, it's unclear to me
whether the blame lies solely with a rogue writer or if GT/ST
was involved also. The former seems more likely. I hope that
vppappy makes an effort to determine the facts and lets us
know the details.

In any event, I don't feel that posting a link to an article about
the Palms legitimizes that action or represents an endorsement of
GT/ST. That certainly wasn't my intention. I post links to articles
from many sites and rely on the intelligence of the members to
consider the source and evaluate the content.

What I would like to know is whether the Gaming Today editors take
responsibility for the situation by: 1) an apology to vppappy for the
unfortunate incident, and 2) publishing a corrected attribution.
