My wife and I visited Woodbine several months ago. It was a Saturday
night, and the place was an absolute zoo. Neither of us has really
warmed to pick'em, so the fact that we couldn't get near a pick'em
machine didn't bother us that much.
The next best quarter game there is 9/6/5/80 double bonus poker. We
couldn't get near any of these machines either, and there were lots
of lingerers waiting for a spot to open up. We stayed for about 40
minutes, and left.
The same double bonus game is available at Georgian Downs, just south
of Barrie. They have pick'em as well, but I think it's only for
dollars.
