This is a straight speed tournament. As many spins as you can get in 5 minutes. I will be there and try to get into the same tournament. Always make sure your hitting the spin reels button so a new play starts as soon as the previous spin ends!

Has anyone played in a MS slots tournament? My wife and I are
signed up for the one this Saturday. We normally play VP but thought
this might be a fun break from losing dollars in Don and Mike's. At
least this won't cost anything. Any tips??BTW, we achieved superstar status a few months ago only because I
asked what our point total was. Lo and behold my wife and I both
qualified. No letter or anything else. It is nice to get a free
meal and the lounge is a nice break from the noise in the gaming
area. But I do think MS needs to pay more attention to the point
totals and get those letters out. Our host has never addressed the
slip up or mentioned it since.
You're not implying that an enterprise like MS should have some
semblance of organization and process?
I never did find out what triggered my SuperStar card being issued
when it was. I erroneously assumed that giving MS more action in one
month than most people give it in a year might have something to do
with it. Not so. In fact MS told me that I had qualified for that
status much earlier in the year. I incredulously asked why I was never
notified. Answer: "You have to ask"
Regarding the slot tournament I received my usual 2nd class citizen
treatment. The card arrives in the mail on Saturday 10/30. Since I was
planning to be at MS on Sunday I figured it would be safe to register
in person. I arrive at 9:00am at MS and am immediately told "sorry
it's booked solid". I thought to myself, "wtf, this booked in under a
day??". A subsequent phone call to MS on Monday revealed that
apparently the mail gremlins were at it again. I suggested to MS that
in the interest of fairness perhaps they should give priority to those
folks who had never played in one of these events before. MS
acknowledged this was a good idea and placed me on stand-by status.
Rotsa ruck.
