I participated in the slot tournament on March 4 - number of entrants was
240 in each tournament (afternoon tournament and evening tournament) I don't
know if the other tournament on March 11 will have the same number of
participants. I finished in the top 100 so I got 100 points on my card - food left a
lot to be desired:( Instead of the buffet arrangement they've had at other
tournaments, they just circulated with a few trays of appetizers - line at the
bar was ridiculous. We just went down to the Player's Lounge for drinks and
snacks. Someone at the tournament told me that some people were handed
survey cards asking if they would pay a fee to participate in future tournaments.
Gambling was pretty decent, although it was impossible to get near any of
the 9/6 JorB bar top machines until about 10 PM Sunday night. Spent the
night and enjoyed playing for a couple of hours Monday morning, managed to come
home up better than $400.
