So much for the economy helping customers.
Other than tons of free offers for loyalty, it seems as if some properties have decided to cut back on their slot club rebates.
TROP (Still a favorite of mine, nice rooms, plenty of decent places to eat, relax, and otherwise hang out):
VP goes from $3/pt to $6/pt, in effect, cutting benefits in half by requiring TWICE as much coin in.
This should be changed on the database from:
$3 Coin-In = 1 Point (For 25c VP)
Cashback: 200 points = $1 (0.167%) =====>> DOWN to .083333%
Earned Comps = 100 points = $1 (0.333%) ===>>> DOWN to .167%%%
TOTAL becomes .25%, instead of .5% total, so they better remove any advertising that claims otherwise! In fact, they were 'reprinting' the slot club informational brochures last month when i began to ask about the changes....
Well - at least the 4-7s bonus is intact on the few 8/5 BPs left;
along with PLENTY of 7/5 BP (esp. at low denoms, but incl. many .25).
Points Expire after 1 year
Slot club day runs from 4:00AM to 4:00AM
However - I must say that as a low-roller (2k max daily, and perhaps 2-6 hours of live poker) at either EW/CB, or Trop will still get you free rooms (up to 4 nights per week, 7 days req'd inbetween stays), and other 'stay & event' offers (the ones VP-Conniessur Dennis always seems to post before I get to - perhaps mail to AZ is quicker than to CA)....
Only GN/Riverside remain stable.
I'm not even sure what the Pioneer's cb/comp system is, recently tweeked; If it's as listed in vpFree, then perhaps they are an ok play for easy rooms and meals, esp. during promotional days (like 4 cd RF, card/quads of the day, etc).
