slot points at bankrupt casinos....

Does anyone think casinos that go bankrupt (Herbst, Trump, possibly Harrahs, Venetian, Stations, etc) will still honor their slot club points/comps built up before the bankrupcy? Do you advise spending comp points as soon as possible?

Yes, I would use comp points as soon as possible and would not carry a large balance especially if they can be used in a manner that is beneficial..

Although I do not think points/comps will be wiped out but with this environment anything is possible and I would not take the risk especially if they can be converted to cash or something that is useful.

Bomd analysts predict Harrah's will be in bankruptcy court by the end of the year. I will personally be glad to see it. It couldn't happen to a nicer outfit. I hope in breaks that company up. Yes, I would dump my Harrah's points if I had them. No since in taking a chance.
