I'm mainly a slot player--
usually $1 or more. Was
wondering if anyone has
any info on what may have
changed within the past 6
months I have been there.
Played all casinos except
Harrahs. Also, which
casino do you think has
the best comps-- I get
offers from River Palms
regularily but reaaly
didn't like their casino---
Thanks Jay

Welcome Jay,
It sounds like you like to wander around on your twice a year trips. Do you
drive-in? So you stay at RP and get mailers? I bet you are frustrated
because you can't cash all those RP bounceback coupons.
If you are a $1 slot player who plays several hours a day I would hope any
river casino will give you what you want. But what is important to you?
-deluxe rooms or suites
-easy use of comps (RP does this)
-possible fly-in packages
-good cocktail service
-non-smoking, or maybe the other way
-fun daily promos
-special invited only tourneys
I am sure there are alot of other variables.
Do you get to gamble in other parts of the country?
As far as changes in the last six months the CB & EW lead the way. New
ownership kicked-in on June 1st. The joints are now 100% TITO. For slots both
joints have a wall of all the Wheel of Fortune variants. Both joints are getting
roomier. It appears the mailers are getting stronger. Their tourneys and
drawings are well run, but the slot club gets too many visits for the low roller
promos.
Harrahs still has the best overall service. But they are way down there on
the end too.
So give us some more clues to what is most important to you.
