Slot Club Point Expiration

I was told tonight that as of this year, ALL Club Grazie points
will expire at the end of EACH calender year. I guess you should
anticipate long lines at the Player's Club booth on New Years Eve.

The only other slot club in Las Vegas that I know of where slot
club points expire for any reason other than inactivity is at Wynn,
where points expire one year from date earned. At Casino Royale, I
know the inactivity period is very short, 48 hours I believe.

Anyone know of other Las Vegas casinos that have weird or very
short (less than 1 year) inactivity period for slot club point
expirations?

As of sometime around March/April of this year, I was told (@GVR) that
their points now expire after 13 months, regardless of activity.
That's their NEW IMPROVED slot program. LoL

I can only hope that this will not be true. It will affect many
hundreds or thousands of players. Hope to see more feedback here!

This is the first part of an ambiguous rule that has been in
effect at Texas, Palace Station and Fiesta Rancho (and
probably at all of the major Stations casinos) for several
years.

The second part of the rule uses a 13 month inactivity
standard, and the final part says they can do whatever
they like, whenever.

Here's a link to the rule on GVR's web site:

https://www.greenvalleyranchresort.com/?section=boarding_pass#

Click on "BOARDING PASS RULES" in left center and
see Rule #6.

We have been assured in the past by supervisors that the
inactivity provision overrides the 13 month rule and we've
never had any Stations points deleted, although some of our
points are several years old.

Perhaps Stations is looking at reducing some liabilities NOW,
but I suspect it would be system wide rather than at an
individual casino, and it would certainly encounter a lot of
customer opposition.
