This is one sleepy group or ur all on vacation! Went to Gtown and my
terrible luck continued so I'm home real early. Traffic advisory,
Lafayette which runs from I-375 past the casino to the Athenium and
parking structure is closed for construction at the end of the casino.
You can get to the valet parking but not much further, this weekend
ought to be real crazy. You need to make a left go down a block make a
right and continue to Beaubien (I think). I think I will just stay
home, save some money and play winpoker. Good luck, there gonna have to
offer triple points to get my ass in there.

This pasted Sunday The wife and I went to see the three casinos in Council Bluffs, IA. Two are boats, the Horseshoe Casino is a Greyhound Race Track.
Ameristar Casino Hotel: Hotel is land based but the casino is a boat.The VP payputs are BAD and the slots are tight.Saw payouts as small as 7/5 and 6/5, DDB on one at 9/5. Did not take a pad of paper to write this down so can't remember the kinds of machines they were and saw some New poker machines, alass memory excapes me, as to the make and games.
Harrahs Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel, [hotel is Holiday Inn and Casino is a Boat] was not much better for VP, but the women will like the new slots.
Horseshoe was the best of the three giving good play and a little better on the VP. Good bunch of slots and geat number of 1c, 2c, 5c, 25c and a lessor amount of $1's. The casino is larger then the other two with the added table games.
Had dinner at their Buffet,very nice layout,[ built like a horseshoe, food on the out side and your seated inside ] clean and the food was Good, better then the Harrahs in Windsor, even if they own them both.
