Only draw back to slant tops I can think of is more sticky buttons. You are
more likely to run into this problem because of spilled drinks. All so true
for bar tops.

I think I've seen more uprights with broken buttons than slant tops.
Ever watch (and hear) how hard some people slap and pound those buttons?
Makes my fingers sore thinking about it. I generally have to move away
from people doing that. They can't quite get into position to slap the
slant tops.

Slant tops are also more prone to glare from overhead lights

Slant tops also tend to be wider, giving you more elbow room. Also, giving you an easier way to get in and out of the chair.

I generally prefer slant tops: more comfortable to play, wider room, as others have said.
The drawbacks: glare, which I consider minor, and the fact that casinos often don't leave coin buckets on them. So you have to run for a bucket when you're ready to cash out.
Cool Yule to all, hope Santa brings everyone lots of royals.

Here in the midwest anyway, bar tops seem to have the worst
paytables in the house.

They are in multiplays near the elevator by the center entrance from Fremont st.
The 400 coins for the SF does not show up until you play max 5 coins. Otherwise, the pay scale for SF shows 50 coins for a 1 coin bet.

Hi, I was in the 4 queens on Christmas and couldn't find these
machines. Does anyone know if they are still there or if the
paytable has been changed? Thanks, Lisa

Lisa,
I did not find these 10/7/80 .05 DB games in the Four Queens myself
in November. I assume they are Bally Gamemakers with the dark green
glass. I did not find this style, which is listed in the DBase, at
the Fremont either. Anyone play nickel DB lately at the Four Queens
or Fremont?
