SL cash bonus

Today's mail contained a postcard offer for 2 complimentary (free)
nights and $125 cash after 300 points. It's valid Su-Th 11/1-12/27.
This is the first offer like this I've gotten since April.

George

do you predominately play VP?
so far, it seems that VP players have been cut off of all cash offers.

Why feel guilty about playing video poker? For the same games you get
a much better deal and much better service without the attitude at the
remodeled Grand Sierra, plus same day, no hassle, half-percent
cashback on video poker and one percent on slots. True, SL "offers"
FPDW and FPJP on quarters, but they are for looking at only, if you
actually play them you certainly won't get any offers and eventually
you will be 86'd. No problem getting a machine though, step right up

Does the Grand Sierra offer 9/6 DDB in multiline? The database lists
only JOB, which is way too boring for me to play.

The 3 & 5 play 9/6/50DDB (formerly 10/6/40) are on the mezzanine
level, between the buffet,Rum Bullion's Bar and the jewelry store. As
of the end of September, there were two banks, in this area. I
believe that these boxes also contain 9/6JOB. The machines are
comfortable slant-tops, and do permit .25c play. Though you can play
either 15 or 30 quarters on the 3 line game, and 25 or 50 quarters on
the 5 line game, the machines offer a full RF payoff either way.

BTW, though another poster suggested that if you play the FPDW and
FPKBJW machines, you will stop receiving offers, I've found it to be
otherwise. At least 75% of my SL coin-in is on these games, with 25%
on the 3 or 5 play, 50 & 100 play & an occasional foray into .50c and
$1.00 single-line 9/6DDB, I receive at least one offer per week from
the SL Marketing Dept. These offers include free rooms as well as
top line entertainment, and special events such as NYE, Christmas
and Super Bowl parties. In the past I have always earned enough
comps to pay for all my meals, but I doubt that this is still the
case. I have not received any BBC offers in quite awhile however.

All-in-all, though the SL still has quarter 100%+ games, I much
prefer staying in the Concierge Tower at the Atlantis, Just my
opinion of course.

I hope that you enjoy your stay and hit some royals!

I was pleasantly surprised to receive mine too ... and it's the same
as before.

I noticed the following "terms and conditions": "CL members with the
majority of their play on VP machines may not qualify for CB
offers", "SL has right to deny this CB offer to any CL member who has
failed to maintain tiered membership play requirements since last CB
redemption", and "SL may deny a CB offer sent in error or to a CL
member who has not met play requirements."

It's not clear to me how SL decides which VP players do and do not get
the CB offer. It is clear that players should maintain their tier
average between CB offers to insure another one. And it appears
players could be denied by the booth at redemption just by saying the
offer was sent in error (a recipe for angry confrontation).

I guess if you got the CB offer, just keep doing what you've been
doing ... but there's no relaxing until the booth processes the
paperwork.

At the bottom of the offer letter: "watch for the exciting new Club
Legacy, coming soon with more of everything you want." This sort of
statement is usually code for an impending reduction in benefits ...
time will tell.

Mine was a postcard not a letter and I had no such terms and
conditions. I get no CB, only $125 Bonus Cash after 300 points. They
may look at what type of VP you play.

Mine is a postcard too, but the $125 cash back for 300 points is
for "slots, table games or keno..." I guess it depends what "slots"

I also received the Silver Legacy postcard offer re
300 points/$125. I used the offer 11/5 on a comped
overnight stay. No problems with redeeming the offer.
Samed as past offers. I am a 100% FPDW & FPJW
quarter level VP player. I also receive the almost
weekly Silver Legacy mailings for free entertainment
tickets & rooms. Discussions with non VP players
indicates my offers are equal to non VP players. I am
very pleased with the Club Legacy benefits that have
paid for all my meals, Sees candy, wine plus summer &
winter clothing outfits from the Tradewinds mens
store. With the new software Silver Legacy has
installed on all machines, I hope this means Club
Legacy will soon be offering " free play " that this

fair share of Royal Flushes. I know I have been very
lucky with more than my fair share the past two months

Hi James,

I read your post with much interest.

I have been patronizing the SL for many years. I have always been
a "low level" Sterling member. i.e, daily coin-in of $10K to $15K.
Most usually $10K to $12K. The majority of my play is very similar
to yours; quarter level FPDW & FPKBJW. I also play 3/5/10/50 & 100
9/6JOB & 8/5BP. On occasion, I dabble in 9/6DDB & NSUD at .50C &
$1.00.

Over the years I have received only ONE Csah Back offer ($250 for a
very short time period) which I was not able to collect.

When many Western State's residents wrote about being offered
copious amounts of FP, on a frequent basis, I called my host to
inquire as to why none was coming my way. I was told that it
was "due to regional marketing". That they were only offering CB to
players from the Western states.

Would you mind telling me what area of the country you are from? I
am from tyhe Mid-West (Chicago area).

BTW, I receive 2 to 4 marketing offers for entertainment, free
rooms, special parties, events, dinners and shopping sprees EVERY
week! It's just the CB that is never offered. Comments welcomed
and appreciated!

Thanks.

~Babe~

an earlier poster claimed to not being able to find ANY FPDW at Silver.
That poster said they were all downgraded. That was a shock.
If you played them, that would refute that post.

Or can anyone else confirm the Silver Legacy FPDW as being still there

That's very impressive. You play advantage games, for what? - 5 hours
