Skyline, Planet Hollywood, Palazzo

I was in Vegas over the weekend, here's the report, sparkling
commentary included.

Skyline: The full pay stuff are on Game Kings (IGT), not Game Makers
(Bally). The bank in question is on the north side of the casino.
There's no slot club. The lineup (.25-.50-$1): FPDW (100.76), DB+
(100.04), SBDW (100.13), DDB (100.06), DB (100.17), and last but not
least for His One Eyed Jackness, OEJ (100.28). No slot club, all cash
and carry. There's also a $1 Jacks/NSUD progressive, I'm guessing it
has a good meter on it. It was $5700 when I checked it out, but didn't
feel like checking the meter. Kind of cheap for me.

PH: I took a look around, couldn't find the Urban Legend FP bank.
Maybe the poster had the wrong casino or he found this bank in a
parallel universe. It may exist, I took a medium look around the other
night, but in my experience with Aladdin/PH, the slots folks know what
they're doing and they don't have a lot of gamble to them. It's kind
of tempting to run some coin through, maybe a little quarter 50-play
9-7 DB, but again, in my experience, this play is a loser. I don't
expect most of the VP to have great theo, even the tighter paytables.
There's lots of stuff with 99% paytables, you can even find some 8-5
BP, but it's probably break even at best. Nice looking casino, even if
the slot floor looks a little busy and disorganized.

Palazzo: Someone get the SD a Prozac or Zoloft. Or maybe rename the
joint Palazzero. Or maybe I took a wrong turn coming out of the Mirage
and walked into Harrahs instead. Unlike the PH folk, I wonder what
those guys are doing over there. 1% is a sufficient enough adjustment,
not 2%.

And Admin, you're welcome for the support.

Hey Paladin -

Thanks for the update but I don't think that is what
brought you to Vegas. So what brought you here?

On Wed at 1PM management had enough of the loud, obvious,
cell-phone wielding AP's. One fellow (Haskell?) was
so very helpful to 2-3 of his friends with play details,
directions, etc. He even left to pick one up and bring
her to Skyline. The 4 of them portrayed themselves as well
acquainted, and sharing information.... perhaps a
"team" in the casino's eyes.

They continued this even as casino personnel were close
at hand! Shame on you! You know who you are!

One of them even showed anger and surprise when the
slot mechanic explained that they were removing the
$ FPDW because of "team" players. LoL! Look at
yourselves from the casino's perspective!

There was team play at Sam's Town on the $1 10-7 on 6x day (before
they bought Coast), and they were playing about the same EV (assuming
the mail belonged to the players and not the bankroll), on a tougher
game.
