Slot club personnel say they'll be mailing out new cards by
mid-November. The old cards will continue to work in the machines. The
new club will have different tiers - like Fiesta & Station. I imagine
more details will be in the mailer. I stopped at the club and asked for
a new card but they said to wait for the mailer.

I received my new card in the mail yesterday. It's called the
Silverton Casino Discovery card. There are four tier levels (with
slot/vp points required): Copper (0-4,999), Silver (5,000-24,999),
Gold (25,000 - 99,999), and Platinum (over 100,000). From the
brochure, "Rating periods are January 1 to June 30 and July 1 to
December 31. Discovery Card members qualify for their card level
based on a static, 6-month rating period" with an immediate upgrade
when you reach a higher level. Gold level is required for "Host
privileges" and "VIP Hotel check-in." Platinum is the only level that
includes Restaurant line passes, and it specifies "6 Free Room
Nights/Month." For all you fisher-men and -women out there, Silver
gets "up to" $50, Gold $100, and Platinum $500 a month at the big
Bass Pro Shop. 500 points = $1 comp. Someone please verify that
points are still $1 per.
If you haven't been to Silverton, I recommend the rooms and like the
look of the casino, especially their interior signage. I always knew
where the nearest bathroom was located. For a locals joint, it has
good access to the Strip if you have a car. I get great mailers from
them.

At the Bass Pro Shop, it is 1000 points = $1. The Silverton is still 500 points = $1
A lot of money has been spent to upgrade this once miserable excuse for a casino. I would not drive across LVBlvd. to eat there. Now it is a regular on our list of places for dinner.
Cheers!
