how we were treated by the Silverton casino host.
Robert, please don't ever, EVER worry about causing controversy here. Your
experience at Silverton is one of many subjects that make this site
worthwhile. If someone verbally slaps you around for picking on their favorite
casino, then that's their problem, isn't it?
Your host was a complete idiot. As soon as you showed him the vpFREE info,
whether he liked it or not, he should have immediately realized two things:
1. That you're not a moron and are a savvy consumer. Mouthing off is not
going to foster a good business relationship. If he is aware of vpFREE, then
he should also be aware that the Silverton garners mostly positive mentions.
2. That any cheapshot negative thing he says (or does) is probably going to
be posted on the Internet pretty damn quick, and those readers all have
friends who respect their recommendations.
As suggested previously, I'd take this right over his head. Somebody there
will take him out to the woodshed for a little attitude adjustment. A host's
job is to suck up to the guests as much as reasonably possible, not piss 'em
off at the beginning of their first visit.
