If you're going to LV any time soon, Silverton has a good promotion going
for Oct. It's a drawing for trips worth $2500. It's every weekend of Oct. The
trips are:
5-days in Maui
7-days at Walt Disney World
7-day cruise to Mexican Riviera on Holland America or RCL
They give away 5 on Thu & 5 on Sun & then clear drum for week. They are also
giving away 5 houseboat cruises for 5 (1-day cruise) on Lake Mead. It's one
ticket for every $50 of play.
What makes this particularly good is that you have a year to use it.
Compared to cruise drawings like those at Terribles or LVH where you must
take the trip in Dec & it's usually NCL (Norwegian Cruise Lines has a poor
record with novovirus) & the ship is loaded with gamblers this one has a lot of
flexibility in booking & it's on 2 of the better cruise lines. The reason
flexibility in booking is important is to take advantage of special events or
things like end-of-season booking where the on-shore shops lower their prices in
anticipation of clearing inventory.
I let the special events coordinator know that I liked this format & hoped
that she would continue to do this. She was pleased to get the feedback as she
wasn't sure whether this would be a one-time thing or not as it was too
early to see how customers liked it.
