Next time you're in town be sure to join the AP Union. Their offices are
right near the Culinary local by the Stratosphere. In fact they share the same
medical provider as the Culinary folks, right there on the corner of LV Blvd
and where main becomes Paradice [formerly called Paradise] I've been a member
since 01' when a slot supervisor at the Stratosphere insulted me while I was
waiting for a royal hand pay, "So... What do you do for a living?" My union
negotiator got me threes times the royal in a pain and suffering settlement. A
friend of mine got trespassed at the old Key Largo for making an off color
comment to a slot tech when the Hawaiian house band was playing country music
during NFR. My friend won such a huge award he made KL close forever. The
Westin. One of our members was waiting for a dealt dollar royal pay at the bar
and the change girl walked up, glared at him and said, "Haven't I seen you here
before?" Bingo, because of the settlement Westin had to take out all of it's
gaming. The only people staying there now are small groups in town for
medical trade shows. And...they allow dogs in the rooms so all their rooms have
fleas [no pun intended] Same story at the Frontier, Stardust, Landmark, Dunes,
Boardwalk etc... Huge settlements in favor of AP Union members. All those
