Silverton Slot Club

Good question.......I play at Silverton because I am always giving them the benefit of the doubt that they will once and for all become a decent slot club. The eternal optimist. I was getting 4 $75 mailers upon reaching Platinum.....it looked promising but then dwindled down to only $20 4 times a month. I only average around 8,000 coin in per month for the last two months now.

It is a short drive from my home, they have jokers @ full pay.....so that is my reason.....and probably some loyalty to the place itself.

Over the years I have made friends with many of the working staff and I see some friends there occasionally.

The mailers are good....but one never really knows the criteria for maintaining the mailers.

OK, so then the question is why DO you play there at all? I mean, what
are the good things they have/do that other places don't offer that has
brought you back again and again since the 90's? The accessibility is
not good for you, the comps stink, the machines were poor (up to now),
the slot club is bad. Is it just that their boothlings have nice
demeanors? Is that enough? I'm curious, because I want to know if I
should ever go there, and it sounds from this and other posts that I'd
best just stay away.
