Silverton Promo...

I was going down to the Silverton on saturday to try my luck with the
swipe and win promo and noticed a new promo in the Review journal about
Station Casino card holders. The ad said that it was eligible for all
card members BUT only reactivations of the Discovery Club members.
Meaning you couldn't have played there since April 1, 2006.

I decided to inquire about the promo at located near the Mexican
restaurant Mi Casa. I gave my Station's President level card as well
as my Platinum Discovery Card to the attendant present. I thought she
was going to fall off of her seat. She immediately called over a host
and introduced himself to me. According to the rules posted at the
casino, if you are a President or Chairman level member of Stations,
you didn't have to have be a new sign up or have not played there
recently. President level members get $150 in ABC free play and
Chairman level members get $250 in ABC free play! SUUHHWWEETT!!!

Free play is supposedly good until the end of the year, but I'll play
mine off sometime this week.

This was very suuuweet for most of the people who are not LOYAL to Silverton.....a complete slap in the face for anyone who plays at silverton and is not a president at stations...

I have been thinking about dropping my play at silverton because they have continually misrepresented themselves and their tier status as in a travel program that they have mentioned in their brochure and dropping the hotel stays from 6 per month to 2 per month if you are able to get them...

All in all it probably is a good time to leave them....I am a platinum player at both casinos....

Just a footnote follow-up. I neglected to mention that they made a
mistake and gave me $250 in free ABC credits. I also failed to
mention that I'm no longer President's status at Stations. I've
slipped back down to Platinum, but I'm sure glad I presented my old
Holiday President's card. The best part of the whole thing was that
I hit 4 Aces on the $1 10/6 DDB for a net profit of $855!

It just about can't get any sweeter than that!
